anyone have any buying advice on what to look for on this engine model? Anything potentially wrong with this engine etc? I know the 1.8tfsi is quite rare on audi a3s, so there is very little information hence why I am asking

Water pump went on mine at about 38k, pretty common on the newer Golf GTI if you have a google search about it. Not a massive job but mine was changed under warranty anyway.

Only other issues there could really be is chain related, but as long as the car has been serviced regular with good oil, there shouldn't be any issues
