aftermarket radio saving settings

How do i get my aftermarket stereo to save the settings. I have used a CTSAD003 lead to connect the radio. I have sound in front and rear but no settings will save. Any help would be appreciated....

Whats ur configuration on the red and yellow cables on the loom that was provided with ur stereo?

With the can system you may been to run a perminant live from the fuse box to the yellow wire at the head unit. What car? What head unit do you have?
