I have the loba sach clutch and smf.and revo engine mount kit, so after being bit easy with my clutch this is first of me trying it out and I notice a lot stiffer to get gears higher revs, there's a post on vagoc about a pilot bearing that you can get to solve this Search SiteSearch Pilot Bearing - 056105313C - Pilot Bearing - ES#277350 Has anyone done this ? And how much labour would be involved in putting this in ? As I have to pay my garage as I'm useless at anything mechanical lol and yes I replayed release bearing and flywheel bolts while clutch was getting done and the gearbox oil, gear changes are so much smoother at lower revs tho

Any news on this? im now also getting this

Punctuation and paragraphs wouldn't go amiss.

Basically stage 2 clutch was the problem has now been swapped for stage 3 and all good apart from being out of pocket

Pedal feel went like normal clutch, put it on dyno to get stage 2+ map and it was struggling to hold 400nm odds of torque which they are meant to hold 550nm or something with cars running well above that. Once clutch was removed u could see it where it had been slipping. Sent this to Sachs who wrote it off as fine! Nothing wrong with it apparently so I basically paid to remove it send it to them and pay to fit another in my car but yeah it was fine just felt like spending the money haha makes me laugh that company's can't back up there products. Stage 2 clutches are having problems at the moment that's another guy on fb having the shifting problems at high rpm! Nightmare!!!!!

Oh god. Mines been ok so far but i'm at standard power atm. Hope mine holds out! That's poor customer service though from sachs really if the outcome was that. What clutch did you go for in the end?

I wouldn't worry I know guys that have had no problems what so ever with there's, plus I was getting the sticky gears at stage 1 before i went to get stage 2+ so yours should be all good I've got the stage 3 loba / Sachs one in cause I got a discount on it then was to send old one back to get looked at then should of been refunded for it but that never happened lol kinda good in a way tho as sticky gears meant I would of thrown clutch out and got another anyways

Given the number of people running the 550nm sachs organic, and that they are standard fit at Shark, might be more reasonable to assume incorrect installation than the clutch itself.

Garage I use is a vag specialist and is **** hot clutch was in fine as it worked but would hold the power and u could see the marks where is had been slipping Ben even said the clutch was faulty as the pedal didn't feel right, I now know of me and another guy had this and now there's a few more coming to light about the shifting problem
