I have a 2012 sat nav disc that appears to be ‘locked’ in the CD slot of my RNSE mk II; I have just upgraded to a newer sat nav disc and now need to remove the existing disc. Can the disc be ejected without VCDS (I know it probably defeats the object) or a making a trip to the main dealers? Thanks.

Dave

I have a function on vag commander to eject disc, never tried it though. Your welcome to pop over and try it

AFAIK you need a VCDS or take it to dealers to enable the eject button and also code in the new sat nav disk. I have the same issue.

Thanks for your replies so far:

@udi A3 – thanks for the offer
ninjakid - I thought it was a case of enabling the eject button and then replacing the 2012 disc with the newer version; does the new disk also have to be coded?
