paintwork and corrosion

Hi all

I bought my car from The Car People in Jan.

I took it for a wash today and noticed the lip of the bonnet is corroded, along with the lower lip of the grille.

Its done 47k miles and i didnt notice it when i picked it up.

Will it be covered under any warranty?

i think it depends if its original paintwork/age of car too

but i have seen people ask about this under the corrosion guarantee

A week later of my ownership of my previous car I noticed the same thing and couldn't be bothered to take it back, so called Audi n they said its not supports under warranty, but it seems all the new car tend to be rusted easily than old made cars...

My new car that I bought its a 04 reg an no corrision whatsoever...

Yep I know mate

I checked the lip everywhere and nothing, even jacked the car and nothing... I know why coz the previous owner didn't use the car much, has less than 38k mileage and I'm second owner, also been kept in garage so that's why

Dont get fobbed off,take it to a dealer to speak to warranty depaertment and if you get no where then ring vw customer care.
