Hi.
I have a problem with my passenger door.
Sometimes it will not open with the remote fob, other times it does open.
The door will still open from the inside if I open it manually but not with the button on the drivers door.
A mechanic said that it could be the solenoid that needs replacing. Would this be true?
If so, does anyone know how much they are or if they have to be purchased as a complete unit?
My motor is a 2008 A3 TDI 170 facelift 58 reg.
