Hello all,
I have recently bought a 2010 A3 tdi Quattro s-line, after selling my beloved S4 v8
certainly enjoying the increased fuel economy :)

I have installed an RNS-E unit to replace the symphony unit, car has MFSW & aux socket in console, as well as Bluetooth.

I was advised to move a brown wire from pin 5 to pin 7 in the blue plug of the quad connector.
The pin 7 was already populated with a green wire , and according to the wiring on the symphony unit this was `aux R` input.
`aux L` was another pin and also wired up.

I have taped these up for the moment, and moved the brown wire from 5 to 7 as instructed.
Anyone know where to wire the green & grey wires that are for the aux socket ?

I won`t probably use it , but if its fitted it may as well be working.

John

thanks for reply,
I presume you mean a new plug to fit in the long 32pin slot ?
and then move the wires into this plug...?
