PDI and 1st registered date.

It's quite normal. If the car is registered from a certain date the owner usually wants to collect the car on that date. The PDI is often done within a few days of it arriving at the dealers. If any problems are found it gives them a chance to get it sorted before it is due to be collected. If a road test is required they will just take it out on trade plates.

I've usually collected my new cars on the 1st of the month and the PDI has always been done well before this.
