Evening fellas,

My 53 plate A3 8P 2.0 TDI 140 Sport is running extremely lumpy when the engine temp is between luke warm an normal.
So I've invested in a Vgate Scanner and it's turned up a couple of errors in the Engine section which is as follows.

Error code: 18369
Exhaust Gas Temp Sensor 2 Bank 2 (G449): Electrical Malfunction: P1961

Error code: 18368
Exhaust Gas Temperature Regulation Bank 3: Control Limit Exceeded: P1960

Error code: 17075
Fan Control Circuit Low: P0691

I've also noticed the smaller cooling fan no longer moves and if I put the air con on the bigger cooling fan goes into take off speed.

I'm going to be replacing both fans just for good housekeeping but need advise on replacing the EGT sensor.

Is it a job I can do myself or should I leave this one to the pro's?

Also where on the engine is the EGT sensor located?

Hope you can help me.

Regards

T
