Buuuut, all those coilovers state they goto 65mm on an A3 but only 10-40mm on an S3, however, on the photo i quoted the front looks the same height as 25mm H&R springs.
I agree 65mm is a practical height, it would just be nice to be able to go more. As a lot of people know, the lower you wind coilovers down the harder they become.
Im now talking about S3's, as I'm looking to purchase one in future and I'm researching, as far as I'm aware the best kit is the 110mm still static H&R ultralow kit. Its just nice to have the flexablitiy to go lower, you don't have to if you don't want to, but its just nice to know you can. Its my only issue with the AP's KW's Wietecs Bilstiens etc
This is the sort of thing I'm talking about, Hodges S3 on H&R 140mm coilovers, yes its too low but can be raised up to a useable height and dropped when wanted:
GuyJ's S3, Love this thing, 110mm H&R Coilovers, 10mm left on front and all the way down on the back:
H&R Coilovers on the right, lowering springs on left
Hope people don't mind me using the pics
