Hi all i am having such a nightmare with my haldex problem. To cut a long story short i took my car ( a3 3.2 quattro ) to an "audi specialist" so they call themselves. I informed them that i had a tyre rubbing sound when pulling off and turning in circles.
They charged me 170 as i asked them to change the haldex oil and filter. I get the car back and boom its even worse than when it went in. I gave it them back and they later rang me to say ahh yes sir we have found your problem you need a new diff.
After the 3000 pound quote just for the part i politely told them no thanks.
I have been searching for ages and multiple people have said they need new controllers or new pumps etc. With the price of the new controllers i need to be 100 per cent sure this will fix my fault. I have plugged it in and its showing no fault codes so am i right in thinking my controller is ok.
Always happens when the car is up for sale any help would be greatly appreciated because at the moment i feel like scrapping the pile of poo
Cheers all
