seeing as the car is in for paintwork sorting . i thought i would sort the headlights as they had watermarks on the lenses plus dust sat in the bottom of them . its amazing how much dust can actually get in them , its a nightmare to get it out !!
thought half an hour each one if there made the same way as the a4 b8 lights a quick warm up with a heat gun and lenses would be off .
instead someone at audi decided to use a hard rubber cement on them . had to carefully dremel around the lens to seperate it from the light , the dust and film on the lenses was driving me nuts , anyway once apart i thought i would mod them slightly , this shows one without the lens glued back on .
I personally think they look better .
obviously cleand all the crap out of them and then painted the silver/chrome part black .
