Anyone know what this is? Just went to fill up petrol and then the car just decides to lock itself? It opens and starts fine after though.

Car locking itself when filling up?

This happened to me on my new 2006 TFSI A4. Never happened on my old Avant but its only done it once. I think its just due to the auto lock time if your doing a full fill. like when you walk away without locking it, it will eventually lock automatically after a short while
I was filling up with a jerry can and it did it 3 times when i was actually putting the fuel in it, only put 5 litres in.
