been looking at tyres for the best grip and fuel econ combined, settled on the eagle F1s think but lookin not to spend that much can anyone recommend any tyres ideally under £85 a tyre that are good in wet, ive got a 8p 2.0TFSI quattro, cheers

You are not going to get a fantastic performance tyre for that sort of money - Kumho Ecsta come in around £84 on black circles then you're into budget tyres!

Have had 3 8P quattros.. very impressed with Dunlop Maxxx 225/40/18 £450 all in for 4 minus a £40 Tesco fuel voucher (Goodyear same deal) so £102.50 a corner all in!

thanks i saw those think the eagle F1 had a slightly better rating on one thing, camskill/tyre traders are cheaper thank BC, always find them expensive, cheers

I think they are £98 on love tyres

cheers yeah i think the eagle F1 had better fuel from memory dont know how much diff it actually makes tbh, camskill and tyretraders always found them to be the cheapest
