RADIO SIGNAL OFF THEN ON

when I have the radio on every couple of seconds ifs fine then it goes off for maybe 2 or 3 seconds then back on again for a couple of seconds over and over... I have checked all connections including on the amplifier in boot lid and connections on to rear screen. it's a 56 sportback with the concert head unit ... help

Assuming with cd's its fine or all sound on any input goes, ideally you need another head unit to test with & then swap antenna amps over & if no help amp & wiring checks, cant be anything else.
