Has anyone got a sensible quote out of these people?

My renewal with my existing insurer is £403, Audi wanted £678!!!

Now that's competitive /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/noidea.gif
 
About 6 years ago when I first bought an Audi. Since then, not a hope.

Same applies to Peugeot insurance for my wife's car. Didn't come anywhere close.

They are just branded off-shoots of big brokers and it's all ultimately underwritten by the same insurers, many of which you can go direct to, with a few quirks to make them feel like they are tailored for your car.

However, I am sure if you fit the target customer mould then they might still be competitive, like any other insurer. Not once have I been that target though in the last 16 years!

Forgot also includes
Legal Protection and 50% PNCB
 

Insurance quotes mean nothing with out age/driving exp/NCB/ points and location where you life plus model spec... An SE is cheaepr to insure than an S-line for example.
