don't know what these buttons do!

Hi,

I've got a 57 plate A3, and there's 2 little buttons near the steering wheel. They are the opposite side to where the dial is for the lights (behind where the indicator stalk is) there's 2 round buttons with l and r on them (so left and right) and you can press them to the left for I and right for II. And if they are central then they are off. I have absolutely no idea what they're for and can't find anything in the manual or online. Any ideas??

Not standard I'm sure. Can you ask the last owner his details are on the v5.

I'm swaying with the neons too even though chavs also like to drive round with fog lights on in the day so maybe left and right fog lights lol
