I am going to look at a 2006 A3 2.0 TFSI S Line Special Edition hatchback tomorrow with just over 50,000 miles on the clock. Is there anything to look out for? Are there any common faults on these engines which I should be concerned over? Any help on this engine/model would be great as it would be my first turbo car :whistle2:

I did try mate but it's hard on my phone can't really find anything

check its had regular services, in addition to the Cam follower, fuel filter, haldex, Cam belt and water pump.

common mishaps crank position sensor MAP and MAF sensors could go wrong and in some cases fuel pump, i would also check the shocks for any leakage .. a VCDS scan would be your best bet to be honest.

check for any blue/white/black smoke [ it should not have any smoke at all] unless it cold or something

finally get a Quattro much better then FWD if your looking at modding it then quattro is the way to go
