Fog Light Dash Warning Lights????

Just a quick question.

The wife has the car as I'm away working. She has used the fog lights today for the first time and has said "there is no dash warning lights" to say they are on.
Is this correct, there are no dash warning lights to say the fog lights are on?

Its a A3 MY09 S-Line TDI

As above, just on the light switch itself.

Make sure she turns them off when the fog clears however!!
