A3 TDI 140 - MAF Cleaning

Can anyone shed some light on this. Heard that it can improve general acceleration and smoothness + mpg.

Worth doing? Any negatives?

Yeah remove it and clean with isopropyl alcohol/electrical cleaner maplins and halfords sell it.

I'm not a great mechanic.... Someone point me to the direction of where the MAF is so I can try this?

from the air box follow the piping and the electrical connector gives it away

Make sure it goes back the right way should be an arrow on it for the air flow

Cleans the sensor, over time they get dirty.

I did it on my auq leon and tbh i saw no difference, but i knew it was clean so that made it faster lol
As for specifics i have no idea
