Error free LED number plate bulbs for facelift 8P - a decent alternative!

Hello people.

I recently went to change the reg lights in 54 plate a3 2.0 tdi. I put some rubbish l.e.ds in at first they worked then flickered off. I then tried to put my original/compatible bulbs back in and it doesnt work. The fuse hasnt gone. I also got new compatible bulbs. And theres seems to be no signs of melting. Help??
 
Have you tried turning the ignition off and locking then unlocking the car?
The originals should work again.
 
Yeah mate tried it all plenty of times, but no joy
 
I should mention I never got round to taking the bulbs out and I am still running them with no issues. Not sure whether to take them out or not now

:( I want to change my number plate bulb as well, but trups said he waiting for to sort of the dash error!!!!! its been a long wait!!!
