Uneven brightness on rear lights

Hi

On my a3 8p my rear left sidelight is brighter than the right rear sidelight..

Anyone know what is likely to be causing this?

Used to get this back in the day with my Peugeot 306!

Bad earth usually. Corroded no doubt.

Either that or check the bulb for any discolouration in the bulb glass.

Bulbs starting to decay. swap out with a new one.
