Guys I have an A3 the discs are worn and need replacing can I fit S3 discs and pads with no real problem

thanks in advance for your help.

From what I understand the S3 brakes are completly different. You will need new calliper carriers.

Do a search and you will lots of posts regarding brakes

Was out last night for a drive down some country lanes and after several bends I got brake fade. Now I'm still looking for a brake upgrade but this will have to wait until the new year. Is there anything I can do in the meantime to improve the brakes without wasting money when I do get around to upgrading the brakes?

I'm running standard 312mm rotors with I presume standard pads, these have more than 75% left on them! the rotors are lipped and do have what looks like a glaze on them.

Any suggestions?

Or should I just be a bit litter on the right pedal until I get the bit together😱

Since you are planning to go for the S3 ones soon, than don't go spending anything on the current brakes. Just drive slowly.
