Service intervall with modified car

I am on APR Stage 2, going on 2+ soon. My local APR tuner is doing my yearly Audi service. However, he recommended doing a service every 6 months because the car is modified. This will mainly be oil change and oil filter change every 6 months.

Do you guys think this is really necessary, I regular check my oil levels and use performance oil anyways?? It seems that they just try to squeeze some more money out of me but I could be wrong...



Edit: Car is MY12 and just over 10.000km. Just had the first service 6 months ago.

I am doing less than 10.000km a year. More like 6000km. Service interval recommended by Audi is every 12 months (at least thats what I got told with my indicated 6000km a year).

I am on 11200km now.
