2012 sat nav in 2007 a3

Hi

I have been offered a 2012 audi sat nav unit wondering is this a straight fit into my 2007 a3?

Unit it has come from an s3 seems to have antenna with it I believe too.

Radio antenna system needs upgrading for optimal reception.

Be very careful the units not stolen.

I am around the Brighton area, we offer supply/fit solutions for these systems, give us a shout if interested, often at Brighton Audi, they know me very well :)
 
When you say it needs upgrading in what way!?

Does it it just plug and go otherwise. As I have symphony with in dash 6 disc changer. But can't add Bluetooth or iPod connection.

Will i I be able to through the sat nav unit?
 
Wiring, modules as its not fully compatible with an rns-e.

BT & IPod are seperate units which we can also supply/fit as additions to the rns unit.
 
There are 2 ipod system types for the rns, the lower priced units are complete waste of time, total crap imho, the better ami system which requires the mk2 rns default anyway, is very much better, but allot of money.
