1.4 TFSI - S-tronic oil and filter change???

Hi Everyone,

Been reading the forum for a while but this is my first post so forgive me if this question has been asked before!

I recently purchased a 2010 (59 plate) A3 1.4 TFSI S-tronic and love it. The car is approaching 40,000 miles and from reading this forum I have seen that the car requires a transmission oil and filter change, however, I have been told by my local dealer that this is not the case and the box is "good for life" on my particular model...

Can someone please let me know if this is something that needs to be done on the 1.4 TFSI ?
