single mass loba/sachs over here. it's a bit louder, pedal is a bit harder too. sometimes there's rattle, most of the times there isn't. pros: it can handle a lot more power and abuse.

Went the single mass Loba/Sachs combination too. Basically as S. describes above. It is a fairly heavy clutch not ideal for sitting in traffic stopping and starting. The rattle on idle doesn't sound healthy. Apart from those things I'm glad I chose it, great bite in the low gears.

Depends on what you want, and how you treat a clutch.

If you want to retain the stock feel, then the Sachs organic and LUK DMF will cope with up to and maybe a bit over,400lbs.
It will not, however, cope with a lot of drag style starts.

The Loba/SMF is tougher, but there is the harshness aspect, which isn't bad,but will be noticeable at idle.

i just got a loba kit and the only down fall i can find is slow traffic/start stop as mine is a bit juddery when you let the clutch out , but it not to bad if you can just let it out fast

Loba/sach here too. Have to put a little more revs on when setting off, which doesn't bother me as I like to hear the milltek anyway :D

In what box? Mine only chatters on a slope too, but by engaging the clutch and letting it out again the chatter tends to disappear.

In the gearbox its a trick people used to do on the mk4 tdi's as the rattle like crazy and it shuts them up a bit so just park on a hill with its front end point up and put a touch more 6 speed Vw own oil in all other stuff is rubbish !
