Very quiet alarm siren

I was getting an error code about not being able to communicate with the alarm siren so bought one off eBay.
After clearing that code it hasn't come back but the new siren is VERY quiet, almost impossible to hear.
I assume something isn't right here? I read on the forum that it's quiet but at this volume it's pointless, you can't hear it 2ft away

Car is a 2003 2.0 TDI
Alarm module: 1K0 951 605A

I know my alarms hard to hear mate... if i'm in the house and the cars directly outside on the driveway then I cant hear it... poor alarms on audis... hard to tell if yours in any quieter through a video...

I opened up my old one where the battery had leaked, looks like the siren runs at 5v tempted to get a 5v relay and hook a 12v 115db siren up to the working module! Should only cost £10-15 to do!
Trying to decide if it's worth the hassle.
