just booked my car in for a 30k mile service. audi mentioned a possible box fluid change to get rid of any hesitency? any ideas?

early DSG boxes had to have fluid change at 20k, mine was checked but told it's a later-build DSG box (prob why I had to wait ****** 24 weeks for my car!) and so doesn't need change until 40k - around a month's time.
Not expecting it to affect change patterns though?

Audi tried to suggest to me to have the DSG oil done with the 2nd AVS (around 34k) when discussing it after my 1st AVS.

I said no, they can pick my car up from work for free and do it at 40K on the dot. No more than 15mins labour plus the oil (which you can buy yourself for cheaper and give them on the day)

for the price i think i'll get it done.

will post if any difference noted

hhmmnnn - asked them to do it but they didnt have time! - so it looks like 40k will have to do.

they did however have time to stick it on the diagnistics - said they didnt find anything....

HOWEVER - they seem to have done something (newer software?) as it seems significantly more willing in D to change down faster under load?

is it possible that the software can be upgraded on the dsg?
