A3 Manual Gearbox Problem, 1.6

Hello everyone,
i have a 2004 A3 8P 1.6l manual audi, and my gearbox cracked, and it's spilling oil, so i'm searching for a used one but i just can't find any,,any ideas about what other gearbox could work on it? like a Golf mk4 gearbox? or maybe a seat gearbox?

You could have it welded as I know of an s3 gearbox having it done obviously dependent on the size and location although welding of alloy is quite specialised
