My brakes are giving a slights squeak under light braking and it only does it sometimes, the car hardly gets used maybe just needing to be taking out for a good run and give them a good use ?

I Had this on my 61 plate S3, only now and again as I was coming to standstill, took the front wheels off stripped down the caliper and applied Pagid brake lubricant to the rear of the pads, squeak went away.
It was just easier than taking it back to Audi and listening to their BullS**t.

Might be a bit of corrosion on the discs, a few hard stops should clean them up. Failing that some copper slip behind the pads might resolve it. I think you can also buy anti squeal shims that may help.
Yeah, apply some copper slip or similar product to the back of the brake pads as suggested.
Bikers have been doing it for years to stop this noise!
