license plate light issue

Afternoon folks

I'm new to the forum so firstly i'd like to say how do to you all!

secondly im having a slight issue with my license plate bulbs.

I fitted some SMD canbus friendly LED's about a year ago and not had an issue.

i noticed the other night when i unlocked the car the bulbs illuminated for about 3 seconds and went off.

i locked the car then re-opened and found they stayed on for about a minute then went off again.

i found i had the same issue with my ambient interior lights, they did exactly the same thing, i found later that one of my rear bulbs had blown, once i changed the blown bulb it rectified the issue.

i have checked for blown bulbs and all are present and working.

does anybody have any ideas?

Get a new set of canbus friendly ones, check connectors are okay, potentially consider oem audi a5 number plate lights!

those look Awsome! I have managed to get my hands on some canbus friendly one for the time being and they seem to be holding out! Fingers crossed
