Fitting Adaptive Bi-xenons (Non DRL) instead of Halogens

Picked up a set of Adaptive Bi-Xenons (Non DRL) and in the process of fitting them to my 2005 A3 Sportback.
When I bought them I naively thought they were plug and play.

I am at the point where I need the adapters but want to check if I am getting the correct thing.
Audi A3 8P + TT 8J Xenon headlights adapter cable set, suitable for Bi Xenon | eBay
Also reading a few threads it mentions wiring back to central electronics module, but to where exactly?
Also what needs to be done on VCDS.
Finally, to be right I should fit headlight washers, how much work is this and what would I need.

    Thanks in advance.

Adaptives will not work for cornering or levelling without installing the levelling system, the lighting side if wired/coded correctly will work.

Ok, lets ignore the adaptive/ levelling for now, might go back to it later
Would like to concentrate on getting the wiring and coding done correctly so they actually work.

Those adapters look suitable yes, however make sure the ce module (vcds module 09) is the correct version to be able to code the correct headlight fitted or you may have issues with flickering or lights not working properly with dis warnings.

Surely if the headlights are not capable of leveling nor have headlight washers it will fail an mot? I have a set of single xenons and was put off installing them by the fact of having to install all of the leveling gear not to mention a new front bumper to accomodate headlight washers. The job costs thousands done properly.

    Just a thought

Comes down to mot testers, according to mot rules, yes they should have levelling systems & washers fitted.

I happen to have noticed that they also use a different type of leveling motor to the halogen ones so you wouldnt be able to level them using the leveling buttons inside the car? only manually using a screwdriver on the back of the headlight?

I am aware of the mot requirements, but first things first, need to get the lights working properly first, then look at the washers and levelling.

Now got the lights fitted and working, also fitted the headlight washers and wired them in, can anyone tell me what coding I will need to do so the washers work correctly. Thanks in advance.
