coolant warning help

Hi all I noticed when I came back from holiday my coolant warning is displaying, I haven't looked yet to see if it is low level, if it is low what mixture should I use to top up?

G13 from audi, 50/50 mix.

But in the first instance can I just top up with water until warning goes off?

Yes, but did you check the level & it is low right, if not then scratch the 2 prongs inside the reservoir, this fixes some coolant warnings on cars that have good levels.

Still using the same bottles as the 2001 Leon used, scraping the prongs worked on that too.
