Went out in the car tonight and noticed the blower fan was'nt working even at full tilt on the climate ,so I scanned it and got this code 01273 blower fan v2 open or shorted so I checked the fuse it was ok .
i removed the motor to check supply then switched it on and it ran at all speeds it four wires two thick and two thin the thick must be the supply and the thin must be for a tachometer to monitor the rpm.
i reassembled it and its running ok I assume the motor is thermally protected giving me the open circuit as a short would have blown the fuse .
has anyone had this issue
