Ranton here from New Zealand
Recently bought a 08 Audi S3 (3 Door Hatch back 6 speed manual bla bla blah)
Its factory Fitted with the Symphony Radio (but with a RNS-e on its way)
and Factory Fitted with the AUDI-UHV Bluetooth.
Its somewhat of a Shame we cant have the A2DP Bluetooth kits like the VWs
I just came to this car from a 07 Passat which I retrofitted RCD510 and MMI and the latest Revision of VW Bluetooth from carsystems.pl
The A2DP Audio was amazing..
However I digress.
I have the 8P0 Bluetooth Module (somewhere in the car)
The UHV kit has that horrendous Bluetooth Confirmation Chime (My Passat had the same when i had the VW UHV Kit)
I have logged in with VAGCOM (VCDS) but the option to disable the confirmation time does not function
I hate the chime it really cheapens the feel of the Bluetooth System.
If i upgrade the 8P0 to the 8P1 module will that give me the ability to kill that chime? other wise.
I am half tempted to try a late model VW Unit and see if I can get the A2DP etc to function. (at the cost of loosing the MFSW Controls of the Phone System)
