Hi all,

Just put some new wheels on my A3 1.9tdi SE and it seems to look a lot higher than others sport models with same wheels on. Was just wondering on what options I have to close the gap between the arch and wheel a little, Would like it to look more like the Sport model which have these wheels on too, am I right in believing that the SE model has higher springs in than the Sport model?

You could go for springs and shocks or coilovers mate,

i went for coilovers but I wanted my car right down.

the SE A3's have one of the tallest ride height.
get that car slammed at least 45-50mm.
you may also want to consider the eibach sportline springs.

Thanks for the replies guys, would I have much clearance between the arch and wheel if I lowered it by 45mm, also would I experience any rubbing?

I've genuine a3 sportback s line springs here that will drop 20-25mm more if your interested.

you wont have clearance or issues as long as you stick with OEM 17 inch or 18 inch rims with the right tyre size.

try the eibach sportlines springs and that would be the best buck you spent.
