Sachs standard clutch and flywheel kit---- max torque?

    Hi guys,

Just a quick question... Does anybody know what the max torque that a standard sachs clutch and flywheel will be able to handle?
After remap and dpf delete my A3 2.0 tdi 170 had around 350 lb of torque and 215 bhp and I think it may have killed the cars existing clutch. So I just bought a standard sachs kit for £450 on ebay and was wondering if it would be worth it to keep the map on the car after they are replaced.

Unfortunately can't afford to go for any sport or uprated kit at the moment.

    Thanks.

if its apart then its worth changing the flywheel. It will save you in labour costs!

stock clutch will take some abuse; a lot of it is down to how the power is delivered and how heavy your right foot is!

I've covered 37,000 mapped miles (cars has done 68K) on the stock setup running approx 205bhp and 320lbs ft torque. A mate I know covered over 80K in his mapped MK4 150 PD!!
