Hi all :) Ever since I've owned my car I've been getting these faults via VCDS for the glowplugs and cleared them many times :

I think its time to stop ignoring them and do something about them. Any advise on what to do ? shall I get them changed or tested for voltage . My mechanic mentioned a relay that could be gone but this was on the top of his head.

Thanks all

Hi, If the car starts up fine when cold then you don't need to worry as it means nothing, had the same reading on my car for couple of years and it only cleared when i changed the EGR valve I don't know if it's got something to do with it or was a coincidence.

That points to the injector loom which also houses the glowplug connections, so yes get it checked out as 1-2 to go yes possibly, but all 4 points to a common denominator, loom.

Hi I read that you were having a fault with all four of your glow plugs, i have this vcds error too and was wondering of you ever got it sorted?

Yes I read the thread, you mentioned that it points to the loom?
Am I being blind and imy2k mentioned that he resolved the problem somewhere?
It doesn't seem to be effecting my driving quality at all and I never have a problem starting the car and so I was wondering if it was worth doing anything about it.

Its only relevant on diesels when the weather is cold, so it probably wont make any difference now, come winter it maybe an issue for you.
