Hello, I've done various searches and found similar problems but not 100% the same so forgive me if this is a re-post.
I have a 2009 S3 Sportback with around 33K on the clock and the drivers seat wobbles forward & backwards just a little, but enough to be very annoying. I took it into Audi and they confirmed the back mechanism was broken and replaced it under warranty.
Problem is, it's not solved you get a slight movement under heaving breaking or cornering when the body weight shifts.. (before you all laugh I'm only about 78KG) then when you accelerate it goes back.
I've taken it back in and had a nice long chat with the engineer who showed me that all the Audi seats are the same and there is nothing more they can do to fix it. I'm amazed as all my previous cars have never had as much seat play as this one and if this was on a track it would be very noticeable on each bend.
Q1) Is this the same on all other Audi's?
Q2) If it's not the same, is there any fix other than replacing with a new seat which is more solid.
