    Anyone around Cambs that can do a VCDS DGS Adaption for me?

    As the title says anyone thats real nifty with VCDS that can do this for me?

    What adaption are you referring to?

    That should of been done when the dsg oil/filter was done.

    Actually mine feels jerky since having its DSG oil and filter changed - i have VCDS, can someone tell me how to check if it was reset? ... and how to reset it if required?

    just follow this procedure.Basic Setting

    Prerequisites:

    • Fluid Temperature 30...100 °C (86...210 °F), see Measuring Blocks, Group 019.
    • Selector Lever in P
    • Ignition ON
    • Engine ON (Idling) for one minute or more
    • Brake Pedal operated (hold for the whole procedure)
    • Throttle Pedal not operated
    NOTE: Be sure to perform the following steps in the sequence shown, followed by the defined test drive.[Select]
    [02 - Transmission]

    Hold up, remember the details on the wiki were for a dsg car, yours are stronic's, so check with ross-tech if the procedure is the same before acting upon, just to be safe.

    But VCDS Wiki only lists 2 gearboxes:

    Isn't your stronic 7 gear?

    If so then check with RT, I would still check with RT & also if your box is 09G, if not then again, check with RT.

    Thanks for your advice ... i just checked an old VCDS scan and my 6 Speed S-Tronic is type 'DSG/02E'

    A VCDS scan will tell you what box is fitted..i.e. This is of my car and shows it's a 02E box which follows RT file
