Steering rack fitment.

Hi guys, will a 2011 diesel a3 steering rack fit my 2007 2T petrol?
Both are 8ps .

Looking to buy a gen 3 rack to stop the dreaded knocking.

You would need to check part numbers & check cross the years, as yours may already supersede to the newer one.
