what happened? well at 92650km the car was taken by Audi Canberra to do a cam belt and waterpump service on the car.. they forgot about the bolt dropped it and sealed it 12,000km later this is what happens... do they want to assume liability no they dont when i clearly have written proof its their work that has caused this colossal damage.. asking me to tow it to and from my workshop pay for the damage and then they 'may' compensate me...
next steps im going to the Fair trade Australia to have them dealt well..
now for the damage workshop told me they well attempt to take off the crank gear... (which needs replacing) HOWEVER they are telling me that the crank can be damaged ... is this possible ?
also been advised that the belt might have skipped a tooth .. however the engine sounds normal idling and under heavy load to be honest.. as i drove it in that condition to the workshop (not knowing)
