I wonder if you can turn ESP fully off in the Lambo?

At Castle Combe on Saturday I was playing with it and drove with it turned off (but still partially active). In the pits after my last session I found that if I keep the button pressed the light goes off. Once off you can't toggle it on or off any more - you have to switch the ignition off and on to reset it. Unfortunately I've not had a chance to play with it yet.

Jason Plato was a tad miffed that you cannot switch off the ESP completely. A few choice words had to be beeped out.

Yeah I saw it but I wonder if he just pressed it or pressed and held.

I thought with the Audi's it would cut back in regardless if the car got to far out of shape.

Oh. Just re-read your post. No, it looked like he switched it off while moving.

Why do they have it that you have to switch off the ignition to switch it back on? Surely the other way around for be a good safety feature - you can't switch it completely off unless you are stationary / engine off, then can switch it back on while on the move. Perhaps it is a real driver's car - can't have the driver accidentally switching ON ESP. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
