256 mg SD Cards

Hi All

I have a mark/series 1 RSNE MMI satnav system

The manual says that you can only put a 256mg SD card (twin slot) in each slot

Is it possable to put a bigger SD card into it and would it read a bigger card ?

In an ideal world I would like to add two 4gig SD card

Has anybody have any experiance of adding bigger SD cards/

I have tried searching the subject, but no luck with the resaults

Yes you can put upto 4GB in each slot, but there is a limitation of how many files can be put on the cards of 400-512.

If you wanted more with the ability to have thousands using SDHC cards, then the mk2 unit is the one to have, which gives you better res screen, sdhc compatibility, faster cpu, AMI compatibility.

We supply/fit the mk2 series if interested.

On mk1 units its SD cards only.
