HELP NEEDED FOR A FRIEND PLEASE

Right guys my mate has an 2009 s3 with the dsg gearbox and the car is fine until its been driven for around half an hour and fully warm that's when the problem starts!!! every time he pulls up at a set of lights and the car has to go into first it sort of judders as if its going to stall but doesn't! then when he's setting off it seems to be struggling to find its biting point???? he's rung two gearbox specialists and they both said its the clutch he also rung audi who informed him that these cars don't have a clutch??? any help would be appreciated guys thanks in advance

Afaik that's an stronic box & dry aswell, so doesn't have ATF/filter to change unlike the older dsg versions, so the best thing is to calibrate the gearbox 1st & then evaluate.
