Led lights fitted 2008 S3

Just fitted the new led bulbs , took the yellow ones out as they look awfull,

Here above is the DRL set to on and there very bright ,
if I turn the dial to side lights manually the drl dim a little here is a pic

Hey guys I have had 2 DRL bulbs go now , I think they may be overheating? I never keep them on all the time , occasionally I will just flick them on if its overcast , is there a way to adjust the brightness of them , if I can drop the brightness I think they will be fine because if I run with my sidelights I have no issues at all , but if I run the DRL on its own they will go within the hour , Any help appreciated
