Had my Milltek TBE fitted for a while now but can't get used to the way the tail pipes stick out.

Does this look right? Are they fitted correctly? The standard pipes look better imo.

DSCF2209

I dont know if you can see from this but mine is sat within the groove in the bumper

I know 'SilverA3' had his milltek done at AMD recently, has exactly the same problem and it's adjusted so they're on maximum tuck but it's still too far out.

Im sure he'll be along with pictures soon....

Is your the 3dr model? If so looks like you've had the sportsback version stuck on as the tailpipes are longer on sportsback

Alright mate. Can I ask a question what exhaust is this on your s3 I have a a3 Sportback and looking for exhaust and this looks mint. Really like it cheers.

Yeah it's the special tips version, i bought it second hand from VAGOC.com i was told it was the 3 dr version and not the Sportback.

Jonse, that's how i expected mine to look.

This is AMD's effort a couple of weeks ago on user 'Silvera3' car.

Too much poke and it's fully adjusted.

I'd like to think AMD new what they were doing, so surely it's gotta be for the 3 door.

Either way it's still too pokey.

That's very similar to mine. Do you think it's the Sportback version?

yeah there the special tips ones i think there the better looking tips. Have to keep them clean though :)

So is there anything else that could be affecting the fitment?

go to the exaust specialist, cut the inch out of the pipes behind shiny end pipes weld them back and it will sit perfect :D

As said above it looks way too long mate, mine sits flush with the diffuser.
