Lumpy jumpy automocar problem

Ok so I have a problem with my a3 at the moment which is bugging me somthing chronic and im driving back to uk next week on leave.



My car seems to kinda jump/lurch forward kind of motion as if its stalling/rocking lol when im driving.

Its a 1.9tdi. Could it be misfiring? its ok at higher speed/revs but if your just cruising along it will start doing it.Any ideas?
