REV D Recirculating Valve - Where From?

Where do you buy a Rev D recirculating valve from?
I phoned Audi and they said the only part that exists on their system is the Rev G (which I already have - 58plate S3).
I then looked on Awesome's site and they have 2 Rev D's. A pieburg one and an VW/Audi oem one. Anyone know the difference as they sure as hell don't I've asked them 3 times. My standard Rev G is made by Pieburg so i'm mega confused?
Just want to get sorted so that when I get my remap - all is well ;-)

I've been running the standard old diaphragm type one (2007 s3) at stage2+ for 6 months now and it seems fine, I check it periodically and no splits so far, I just figured I'd swap it if it failed, any other reason to change?

I was under the impression the piston valve operates better under raised pressures. Being that by design it is the more 'engineered' solution. I've checked my Rev G and it's not split, yet. But as I said I'm soon to remap.
Just figured from all the posts I've read the diaphragm valve is worth distance checking a.s.a.p

My Rev G was in good condition at Stage 2+ but i upgraded a couple of weeks ago to the Rev D for piece of mind. For the price it's worth upgrading.

    Hi there,

I find your comment a little bit harsh. I myself replied to an e-mail from someone the other day with this exact same question and have checked to ensure all my colleagues are aware of this too (which they are). Did you call or e-mail? If you called, Can you drop me a PM with your phone number so that I can check with the recorded calls?

Anyway - I shall answer this again in case anybody finds this as a result of a search.

The Genuine OEM Revision D Valve that we sell comes direct from Volkswagen themselves.
The Pierburg Revision D valve comes from an after market parts supplier.

Both of these valves are manufactured and assembled by the same people, in the same factory and are both made by Pierburg.
The difference is quite simply the Supplier and the box that it comes in.

Even to a point that the Pierburg valve has the genuine VW/Audi part number scratched off it and a sticker placed over it.

    Hope this helps.
    Regards, Al.

Sorry not meant to be harsh, I have no wish to try and put your company down. I have used you many times over what must be the last 10yrs and never had any problem with your service. Hence why you were my first port of call.
However I did use your 'Live chat' question service 3 times to try and get an answer, once admittedly was out of hours - which was the one that you replied to. By that time the above conversation had already happened and I had already purchased from FR&R.
